Rev. Julie Schendel

I am a Doctorate of Ministry student at Portland Seminary studying Semiotics, Church, and Culture. My passion is studying imagery of Christ and what our preferred images say about our faith and our culture. Join me as we explore diverse imagery and expand our understanding of who Jesus was and how it impacts our beliefs and our hospitality as part of the church.

I am also a United Methodist pastor who has served in a number of churches throughout North Georgia for the last 18 years. I love helping people fall more in love with Jesus and discovering how to share that love with the world.
